SETD is a charitable trust which does not receive any grant or funds from government. It runs its activities through help from donations by friends and well-wishers. Our last years’ annual expenditure was about Rs 10 lakhs which was totally met by donations.

B. Sponsor a candidate/activity
a) SETD does not charge any fee for its programmes. Our major activity is Sequential Foundation Course for teachers of Deeni Madaris and schools of disadvantaged communities. The participants are mostly outstation who are provided board and lodging. Their to and fro fare (up to Rs. 1,000) for each of 5 sessions is paid by the Trust. Each participant is provided set of NCERT text books of mathematics and science for classes VI, VII and VIII and other stationery items. The average cost of conducting 5 sessions of SFC for a batch of 20-22 participants is Rs. 2,00,000. We seek sponsorship of SFC.

c) We plan to start computer education programmes at our facility in Aligarh. For this, we seek support to establish a computer lab with 6 workstations.
C. Spread the Message
SETD envisions a nation with less educational disparity. The Trust is striving to serve the under-privileged sections of society by improving their quality of teaching and learning. These institutions do not find many supporters in this field. We at SETD need your moral support as well. To help us make your friends and family aware about our work. Well-wishers matter a lot in charting a difficult and unknown journey.
We have seen things progressing from a very humble beginning. Lets contribute our bit to take it further.
